Projections Process method for project managementWhat is the Projections Process™?

The "Projections Process" is a trademarked project management methodology, formally recognized by Bell Laboratories when they renewed our contract. Essentially, it involves the creation of "virtual teams" - often widely dispersed - and sophisticated project management tools to ensure that communication is maintained and that multiple project threads can be centrally controlled at all times.

Multimedia encompasses skills ranging from instructional design to video production to custom application programming. We believe that no single vendor can supply the highest quality for every component of a multimedia project, so we constantly seek out the best specialists all over the world for each aspect of a project and integrate these elements in a way that is transparent to the client.

client needs assessmentWhy should I trust Projections Company with my project?

We know the industry, the pitfalls, how to assess our clients' needs, and what needs to be done to assure a successful outcome. Projections Company has been doing multimedia project management since the 1980s--before the term "multimedia" was even coined. Some of our professional colleagues have worked with us for over fifteen years. Our track record is long and proud; our client list is distinguished. We have established long-term working relationships with leading companies, both large and small, all around the world.
traditional turnkey providersWhy shouldn't I go to a "turnkey" provider?

A "turnkey" provider for your multimedia project is a single vendor who will take ownership of your entire project from start to finish. While this is easy and convenient, it also locks you into a single vendor's proprietary solution. When you want to implement changes or upgrades, you will be obligated to either continue your relationship with that vendor (on its terms), or write off your initial investment and find another provider. Traditional turnkey providers have high overhead (the cost being passed on to you), a low survival rate, and may not be able to offer superior expertise in all areas of your project. The traditional approach of using a turnkey provider rarely provides the best quality, cost-efficiency, or long-term protection.
timelines, deadlines and objectivesHow do we protect our clients?

Every contract and project is divided into specific pieces. Each piece has concrete, short-term, and quantifiable goals, budgets, deadlines, and milestones. At any particular moment, our clients can track a project's progress, costs, whether timelines, deadlines, objectives and budgets are being met, and what measures have been taken to overcome any obstacles that may arise. Most projects are structured with several "bailout" points, so that they can be altered--or even terminated--without penalty.

consultation objectivesWhat about costs?

Every client and application is unique. Our role ranges from overall responsibility for complete projects to long-term advice and consultation on a retainer basis. We look forward to discussing your particular needs and objectives.

Why should you consider it? The Projections Company Benefits.
